Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Who We Are
This website, caregivers.thehomecareagency.com (the "Site"), is operated by Web Properties Corp, doing business as The Home Care Agency ("The Home Care Agency," "we," "us," or "our"). The Site helps people who want to become paid caregivers — including family members seeking to care for a loved one through a state Medicaid program and caregivers seeking work — get started with that process.
2. Information We Collect
When you submit a form or call us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, your state and ZIP code, and details about your caregiving situation or interest. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and advertising identifiers, so we can operate the Site and measure our advertising. Calls to or from us may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your caregiver application and contact you about it by phone call, SMS text message, and email — including through automated dialing systems and AI / artificial-voice technology;
- To help you get started with a licensed home care agency in your area, at your request;
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our service;
- To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.
4. How We Disclose Your Information
We disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- To fulfill your request. When you ask us to help you get started as a caregiver, we provide your contact details to the licensed home care agency handling caregiver enrollment in your area, solely to complete the request you submitted.
- To service providers that help us operate the Site and our service (such as hosting, analytics, call tracking, and our CRM). These providers process information only on our behalf.
- For legal reasons, such as to comply with the law or protect the rights, property, or safety of you, us, or others.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not provide it to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Mobile Information & SMS Consent
We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, mobile opt-in data, or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We collect your mobile phone number, the fact and timestamp of your consent, and the content of messages you exchange with us, and we use that information to send you text messages about your caregiver application — such as confirming we received it and coordinating a time to speak by phone — and occasional updates about caregiver opportunities, and to honor HELP and STOP requests. The Home Care Agency is the only party that sends you text messages under this program.
Message frequency varies; you will receive up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any service or employment. For the full messaging program terms, see our Terms & Conditions.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- SMS: Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe.
- Calls: You may decline calls or ask to be removed from our contact list during any phone call.
- Access, correction & deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below.
7. Data Retention & Security
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
